The IPAG held its 24th meeting on the 1st of December at the Electricity Authority’s offices in Wellington. The IPAG started to consider how it would respond to questions from the Authority regarding its review of Transpower’s demand response (DR) programme. The Commerce Commission led a discussion on the potential application of cost allocation and related cost requirements to Transpower and Transpower briefed the IPAG on what its Distributed Energy Resource Management (DERM) programme may be like in Regulatory Control Period 3 (RCP3). IPAG also heard Vector’s views and experiences of Transpower’s demand response programme.
