On 15 August 2017, we held a workshop at Cliftons on Willis Street in Wellington to discuss two consultation papers:

  • Register content codes: 2017 operational review. This paper reviews several options and enhanced business requirements and proposes some changes to improve register content code use.
  • Electricity Information Exchange Protocols (EIEPs):2017 operational review. This paper proposes changes to all EIEPs (with the exception of 13 and 14), as well as regulating EIEP5A.

The workshop covered all the major changes proposed in each consultation and allowed participants to ask questions and seek clarification prior to providing responses in their formal submissions. This workshop was intended for traders, distributors and metering equipment providers.
