The Security and Reliability Council met on 28 March 2017 to discuss an event at the Manapouri power station, information security, the SRC’s risk management framework, HVDC asset management, a power system event in South Australia, the 2017 annual assessment of security of supply, New Zealand Generation Balance reporting, Transpower’s major capital proposal for the upper-North Island, and system operator performance.
