Market operation service provider audits
We’re responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the electricity system and markets through the operation of core system and market services in accordance with the Code.
To do this we contract a number of market operation service providers who operate under individual contracts as agreed with us.
Market operation service providers must be audited in accordance with Part 3 of the Code. Market operation service providers are the:
- registry manager
- reconciliation manager
- FTR (financial transmission rights) manager
- pricing manager
- clearing manager
- wholesale market information trading system (WITS) manager
- system operator.
