Transpower and the Authority have agreed a variation to the SOSPA as a result of the 5-year review. The varied agreement takes effect 1 July 2021.

Transpower and the Authority have agreed a new SOSPA. Transitional provisions in the SOSPA take effect immediately. The full agreement takes effect 1 July 2016.

SOSPA variation agreement number 1
The SOSPA requires both parties to regularly review key settings. The first review took place mid-2020, and the resulting variation was agreed 15 December 2020. The variation took effect from 1 July 2021.
