Decision paper and summary of submissions

We have published a decision paper and a summary of submissions on the recent consultation on distribution pricing.

We have decided to update the Distribution Pricing Principles with the aim to promote reform of distribution pricing structures. The new principles reflect feedback received from proposals.

We will soon publish a distribution pricing practice note to provide guidance to distributors on the practical application of the Distribution Pricing Principles.

Efficient distribution pricing will be in the long-term benefit of consumers. The Authority will monitor distributors’ progress on introducing more efficient pricing with annual pricing scorecards. We will test the practice note and scorecards with distributors before finalising them.
