Upper North and upper South Island - draft lists for consultation

    Closed

    28 Aug – 09 Oct 2018

    14 submissions received (view submissions)

We are seeking views on two draft lists that would be eligible under the regulated terms in Part 6 of the Code to receive avoided cost of transmission (ACOT) payments from distributors.

    The lists are:

    • distributed generation in the upper North Island
    • distributed generation in the upper South Island

The proposed lists for each region rely on analysis provided by Transpower about what distributed generation in these regions it needs to meet the grid reliability standards.

Submissions are due Tuesday, 9 October 2018. The Authority will finalise and publish the two lists after considering submissions.

We have already consulted on and finalised the lists for the lower South Island and lower North Island.
