System operator and market services review
The Authority has as a key strategy to ensure fit-for-purpose market services support the efficient and effective operation of the wholesale and retail electricity markets.
In 2015/16 we have undertaken to improve the arrangements for the service provision by the system operator and other market operations service providers. Further adjustments to the arrangements with market operation service providers are anticipated in 2016/17.
