Registry manager service provider tender

Commencing on 1 May 2017, the seven-year agreement has a contractual value of approximately $4.5 million. The Registry, originally developed and currently managed by Jade, is a web-based application that holds identification numbers for every domestic and commercial electricity connection point in New Zealand. The Registry facilitates real-time consumer switching, supports negotiations between traders, provides electricity industry statistics, and is a secure channel to transfer data between industry participants (such as retailers, distributors, and metering equipment providers).
