The RAG agreed in late 2012 to examine the potential to improve retail competition on embedded and customer networks as part of its 2013/2014 work plan.
The project was identified after the RAG noted possible issues with the ability of retailers, particularly small retailers, to compete to supply customers on embedded and customer networks. The RAG have agreed that the scope for the project is to regard competition and efficiency on secondary networks.
