IPAG discussed the transition of ripple control into flexibility markets, Authority staff updated IPAG on the initial feedback received in response to the discussion paper “Updating the regulatory settings for distribution markets”, and IPAG discussed demand side engagement with Authority staff and some members from the Market Development Advisory Group. Transpower also presented on how to ensure the reliability of flexibility services, findings from their international review of Distribution System Operator models, and Transpower’s Grid Support Contract design guidelines.
