IPAG discussed the future work programme and how IPAG will support the Authority’s work on updating the regulatory settings for distribution networks. Synergies with the work being done by the Market Development Advisory Group (MDAG) were also discussed. The Commerce Commission presented the findings from submissions to their open letter seeking views on the emerging issues for electricity networks. Transpower also presented the requirements of the system operator to have visibility over distributed energy resources and Transpower’s work developing procurement arrangements to tender flexibility services.
