The IPAG received presentations on the Equal access project. The presentations covered matters associated with the existing access arrangements to distribution and transmission networks, including the respective regulatory roles of the Authority and the Commerce Commission. The group then began considering a preliminary problem definition.
The IPAG also considered whether to finalise its purpose statement and success indicators, and informally met the Market Development Advisory Group (MDAG) over lunch.
