Exemption granted

 
 

We have granted and gazetted a new exemption (referred to as exemption No. 244 on our website). 

Transpower New Zealand Limited is exempted from complying with the obligation in clause 13.34 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 to submit reports to the Authority on revised information submitted later than two hours before the relevant trading period. The Gazette notice, including reasons for the approval, is available on our website.

WAG discussion paper deadline extended

 
 

Due to the earthquake last week, the Wholesale Advisory Group (WAG) is aware that some interested parties were not able to return to their offices for several days.

Therefore, the WAG Chair has extended the deadline for accepting submissions on the WAG discussion paper, titled Instantaneous reserve event charge and cost allocation, until 5 pm on Monday, 28 November 2016.
