New work programme item: Normal Frequency Management Strategy
We have introduced a new item of work, called the Normal Frequency Management Strategy, into the Reserves and Frequency Management (RFM) Programme.
This is to ensure the valuable, new information gathered during the recently completed Frequency Keeping Control (FKC) trial is included in the planning of the National Market for Frequency Keeping project.
We plan to publish a report of our findings and recommendations in August 2015.
Consultation on dispatchable demand: Late bid revisions
The first participant began operating under the new dispatchable demand regime in November 2014. Since then, we have identified an undesirable outcome that relates to the payment of constrained on and constrained off compensation to dispatchable demand participants. This comes about when a participant makes a late revision to its bid.
We are consulting on a proposed solution; submissions close at 5pm on Tuesday 16 June 2015.
Reminder: Participant registration and information
We remind participants that it is their responsibility to register with the Authority, and to ensure the information they have previously provided for registration is kept current.
Please check that all information is up to date including contact names and details that may have changed.
Failure to register or to update information is an offence under section 31 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010.
