Amendments to the Information System Definition

 
 

The Authority has consulted on the following amendments to the Information System Definition (ISD):

  1. updates to the lists of Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (Code) obligations in which the information system is either explicitly required, or invoked by the use of the defined terms “publish” or “notify”
  2. amendments to the list of approved information systems under clause 3 of the ISD to amalgamate the Authority's Electricity Market Information website and its File Transfer Protocol into one information system, and update the descriptions of existing approved information systems.


After reviewing submissions on the proposed changes, the Authority has incorporated the proposed changes into the ISD along with the following additional changes made as a result of submissions:

  1. changing the approved information systems specified in the ISD for clauses 7(1), 7(8)(b), 8(3), 13(1) of Schedule 8.5 and clause 3(1) of Schedule 14.2 of the Code
  2. correcting a formatting error.

Code Amendment: FTR Reconfiguration Auctions

 
 

The Electricity Industry Participation Code (FTR Reconfiguration Auctions) Code Amendment 2014 came into force on 1 November 2014.

This amendment made changes to Parts 1 and 13.

Code Amendment: ICP Switching

 
 

Parts of the Electricity Industry Participation Code Amendment (ICP Switching) 2014 come into force on 6 November 2014.

These amendments are to Part 11 of the Code.

The Authority reminds participants that it is their responsibility to register with the Authority as a participant, and to ensure the information they provide for registration is up-to-date. Please check that all information is up-to-date including contact names and details that may have changed. 

Failure to register or to update information is an offence under section 31 of the Electricity Industry Act 2010.
