Operational review of Part 6 of the Code

 
 

Following recent consultation, the Authority has decided to amend Part 6 of the Code to:

  • introduce a streamlined process for connecting small-scale distributed generation 
  • make a number of technical amendments throughout Part 6 and associated Parts of the Code. 

The purpose of reviewing Part 6 was to improve the efficiency of the industry processes associated with connecting distributed generation that are covered under the Code. 
The amendments to the Code will be gazetted on Thursday 21 August 2014 and will come into effect on 23 February 2015.
