The following settlement agreement was reached by Genesis Power, the System Operator and Meridian Energy concerning Genesis' failure to have duplicate main protection systems in place for a number of generation assets at the Huntly, Tokaanu and Rangipo power stations, and to report a breach relating to quality and security under Part C of the Electricity Governance Rules.
