Archive - Security Advisory Group 2009 - 2010 (disestablished)
The advisory group that provided advice to the Commission about how it may use reasonable endeavours to ensure security of supply in a one-in-60 dry year, without assuming a demand reduction from emergency campaigns, while minimising distortions to the normal operation of the electricity market.
The members of the Security Advisory Group were:

- Chris Jewell (Mighty River Power)
- Peter MacIntyre (Contact)
- Tim Chatterton (Vector)
- Alan Hunt (Transpower)
- Molly Melhuish (Domestic Energy Users' Network)
- Terrance Currie (Major Electricity Users' Group)
Brian Bull, Senior Analyst, was the Commission's representative on the group.
