2019/20 planning and reporting

We commissioned UMR Ltd to undertake two surveys in March/April 2019, one of consumers and the other of electricity industry stakeholders, to better understand how they perceive the electricity industry.

This is the sixth year the Authority has undertaken the surveys to measure competition, reliability and efficiency. The surveys are carried out every two years – recent surveys were previously undertaken in January/February 2017 and January/February 2015.

We have published the submissions received on our 2019/20 Levy-funded appropriations and indicative work programme.

We considered the submissions on our proposed appropriations before reporting to the Minister in February 2019 with our recommended appropriations for the 2019 Budget. Consultation feedback also informed our development of the 2019/20 Statement of Performance Expectations (SPE).

The SPE will be published in late June 2019. The work programme will be finalised in June 2019 and published in July 2019.
