Closed

11 submissions received (view submissions)
The Authority is seeking feedback on proposed strategic directions for market development. The strategic directions are intended to further explain the Authority’s future focus for market development, and to provide more information about how the Authority might respond to changing circumstances, such as technology change.
The strategic directions are to be a part of the Authority’s strategic framework and would be incorporated into the Authority’s 2013/14 statement of intent SOI.

2013/14 Appropriations, Authority Work Priorities and EECA work programme
Closed
25 Sep – 02 Nov 2012
13 submissions received (view submissions)
The Electricity Authority (Authority) and Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) have released a joint consultation paper on the proposed 2013/14 annual appropriations and their respective work programmes.
The paper covers all Authority appropriations and those EECA and Consumer Affairs (A part of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment) activities that are funded by the levy on industry participants.
In addition to appropriations information, the consultation paper seeks input on:
- The Authority's operating environment and strategic direction;
- The Authority's draft work priorities for 2013 - 2016 plan; and
- EECA's proposed levy-funded electricity efficiency priorities for 2013/14.
The appropriation consultation period commences on 25 September and submissions are due by 2 November 2012. Submissions should be sent individually to the each of the Authority or EECA depending which appropriations and work priorities you are commenting on.
Each organisation will use the results of this consultation process to provide input for the Treasury-led Estimates of Appropriations (Government Budget) and their Statements of Intent, which are to be published the day after Budget day (usually in mid-May).
